Workshop

In our workshop, we apply broad and in-depth technical expertise to the restoration of unique objects. It is equipped for about four complete restoration projects per year, with additional space for maintenance and service.

Maintenance & Service

Driving a historic vehicle comes with maintenance, service, and occasionally an unexpected breakdown. Besides being a restoration specialist, BAIV is also available for all your maintenance and service needs. With our technical expertise and dedication, we bring your vehicle back to the level it deserves.

(Reverse) Engineering & 3D Modeling

Our engineers bring missing or heavily damaged parts back to life. Engineering is fully integrated into every phase of the restoration process. With advanced 3D scanning technology and 3D CAD, we can digitally capture existing parts and reconstruct them with unmatched precision.

What can no longer be sourced, we rebuild ourselves based on original specifications, photos, or fragments. We combine historical knowledge with modern design techniques—focusing equally on appearance and functional reliability. Everything must be exactly as it was intended to be.

Painting & Finishing

In our in-house spray booth, we restore original colors using modern materials. Each vehicle receives a durable, high-quality paint finish. No more lead-based primer, but an environmentally friendly alternative with the same qualities and characteristics, ensuring the vehicle is preserved sustainably for the future

Historical Manuals & Archive

With every restoration, we uncover new findings and expand our knowledge. Every piece of history, all information, and the historical manuals we discover are digitized into our own archive. This library now contains a rare collection of original and digitized manuals. For each project, we retrieve the appropriate documentation. Customers receive a reprint of the material used. Practical, informative, and historically accurate.

Our facilities

Our workshop is organized, efficient, and HSE-certified (version 2017/6.0). We have an overhead crane, certified tools, and project-based material organization. Work we do not perform ourselves is handled by trusted professional partners. Safe, skilled, and scalable.

Craftsmen

Our specialists are trained in engineering, automotive technology, and construction. In addition, we train new talent ourselves, because restoring cultural military heritage requires a unique craft that can only be learned through hands-on experience. This keeps our knowledge alive and allows it to grow further. As a result, the team is invaluable to us—and to the future of our shared history.

Help keep our shared story alive

Historic military vehicles are more than just a hunk of steel. They represent engineering, craftsmanship, emotion, and an important chapter of our history. Step into the world of historic military vehicles and help us keep this heritage running.
